Change doesn’t happen in a linear fashion. You do the work; it gets stored and then finally there is a breakthrough.
Goals are about the result you want to achieve - systems are the way you’ll get there. When you focus on the system in the words of three-time Super Bowl winner Bill Walsh “ The score takes care of itself”
<aside> 💡 1 - Winner and losers have the same goal: you both want the same thing - the system defines who gets the medal.

2 - Achieving the goal is only temporary:
You cleaned your room-great. If you don’t have system to keep things tidy guess what? Tomorrow you got the same problem.
Fix the inputs and the output will fix itself.
3 - Goal Restrict Happiness :
How many time you thought “ if only I achieve this, then I’ll be happy”. Did that ever work? I bet not. Also, why put happiness on pause? Is happiness a destination or a process?
Isn’t funny goals set us in this binary mindset of “either-or”conflict - like our options are either to win or fail. Are things truly binary in life? Perhaps we might need to “Think Again”…
4 - You achieve it. Great. Now What? Goals and system are playing a different game. Are you in for the sprint or for the game of life? System are for the living.
